Donald Knight

Donald Knight, age 66 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. Donald was born on September 18, 1953 in Walker County, GA to the late Billy Joe Knight and Mittie Lou Mobbs Knight. He has been a resident of Gordon County for over 40 years, and was a retired diesel mechanic. Donald was loved by many. Donald is survived by: his fiancé, Margaret Jones of Plainville; daughter, Allison Chastain and her husband Michael; two brothers, Billy Wayne Knight and Robert Knight; two sisters, Janet Murdock and Diane Benefield; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, January 26th at 2:30 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Silvers officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26th from 1PM until the funeral hour at 2:30PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
