Doris June Holland

Tuesday, May 15, 2007 Mrs. Doris Holland, age 72, of Calhoun. Died Tuesday morning May 15th in Gordon Hospital. Doris was born in Gordon County March 26, 1935. Daughter of the late Raymond Joe and Myrtle Ruth Moss Goode. She was a homemaker and member of the Oostanaula Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald Holland of Calhoun. Two sons, Zane Holland and his wife Laura and Tim Holland and his wife Wanda all of Calhoun. One brother; Rayford Goode of Calhoun. Two Grandchildren, Heather and Kevin Holland. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday May 17th at 11am from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Rick Langston officiating. Burial will follow in Blackwood Springs Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Richie Goode, Dana Pinson, Keith Goode, Ron Ignatovich, Jerry and Doug Holland. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 until 9pm.
