Eddie Dean Dalton, age 71 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Eddie was born on June 5, 1949 in Marion County, Tennessee, son of the late Billie Dalton and Beulah Lee Jones Felts. Eddie has been a resident of Gordon County, GA since 1973 and was a member of Resaca First Baptist Church.

Eddie is survived by: his wife, Wanda Sue York Dalton; two sons, Jimmy Dean Dalton, and Billy Ray Dalton and his wife Christy; four daughters, Melissa Peeler, Wanda Faye Henry and her husband Kenneth Brinson, Tina McClure and her husband Terry, and Ashley Peace; one brother, Glenn Dalton; three sisters, Patricia Goforth and her husband John, Shelia Coffee, and Reba Dawson; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Thursday, May 27th at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Blackstock officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 27th from 2 PM until the service hour at 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
