Edward "Eddie" Duffey

Edward Wallace Duffey (77) of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on April 10, 2024.

Edward was born to George Edward and Lena Duffey in Newnan, GA on September 20, 1946.
Edward loved movies, music, talking to anyone that was in his sight and greeting people every
Sunday morning at Long Hollow Church. Edward was a widower for the last 15 years from the
love of his life, Brenda Joyce. Together they started and ran Duffey Advertising for many years,
a creative marketing and advertising agency out of Goodlettsville, TN.

Edward is survived by his sons, Shane Duffey, Sean Duffey and Gary Murphy, his daughter
Tammy Baggott, his daughter’s-in-law, Cherie Duffey and Amanda Murphy, his son-in-law Brett
Baggott, his grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Griffin, Grant, Rhotie, Connor, Chandler, Cooper and
Levi, and his great grandchildren, Zion and Koen.

Edward’s family will host a funeral at noon on Saturday, April 13, at Long Hollow Church,
Hendersonville, TN. There will also be a receiving of friends starting at 11am at the church.
