Frances Evans Withrow

Frances Evans Withrow, age 85 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her residence.

Frances was born on December 30, 1935 in Bartow County, GA, daughter of the late John Smith Evans and Emily Cook Evans. In addition to her parents, Frances was also preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Ezekiel Withrow, JR; three brothers, Acuff Evans, J.S. Evans, and Raymond Evans; and four sisters, Nellie Jo Graham, Octavia Clark, Bobbie White, and Fan Lou Hall. Prior to her retirement, Frances was employed by Harbinger as a crew boss. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Frances was an avid seamstress and gardener.

Frances is survived by: one daughter, Vickie Bohannon and her husband Dale; three brothers, Dow Evans, Jerry Evans and his wife Shirley, and Fred Evans; two grandchildren, Chase Bohannon and his wife Kaitlyn and Conner Bohannon and his wife Brittany; and four great-grandchildren, Sophie, Emma, Hazel, and Theodore.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Bearden officiating. Burial will follow in Oostanaula Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
