George Wendell Wilkerson

George Wendell Wilkerson, age 64 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Wendell was born on June 22, 1961 in Rome, GA, son of the late George Parker Wilkerson and Troy Mae Womack. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Ronnie Wilkerson and Sonny Wilkerson; and sister, Wanda Wilkerson. Wendell was a loving husband and dedicated his life to talking care of his wife, Martha and loved his grandbabies. He was a homebody and liked old cars.

Wendell is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Martha Fowler Wilkerson; three daughters, Brandi Parker Sullivan and her husband Matthew; Terri Brooke Massingill and her husband Billy, and Ashley Butler Byars; eight grandchildren, Caleb Sullivan, Ryan McClain, Megan Sullivan, Cayden Ray, Breanna Childers, Hunter Childers, Brooklin Byars, and Jessie Byars; and six great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will have a private service to celebrate the life of Wendell.
