Glenda Sue Byrd, age 85 of Sugar Valley, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at her residence.
Glenda was born on June 24, 1941 in Steele, MO, daughter of the late Jeremiah Waller and Opal McDonald Waller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Waller. She was a member of the Calhoun Church of Christ.
Glenda is survived by: her husband, William A. Byrd; three daughters, Janet Myszkowski, Diana (Thomas) Cunningham, and Elizabeth (Dean) Fardo; sister, Jerline Bates; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 10 AM until 11 AM.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Bob Berghorst officiating.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM in the Georgia National Cemetery.
