Glenese Thomas

Glenese Thomas, age 75, of Calhoun, passed away Sunday morning May 28th, at her residence.

Glenese was born June 25, 1947, in Habersham County, daughter of the late Joe Glenn Thomas and Mary Ruth Hall Thomas. She was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church and prior to her retirement she was employed at Gordon Health Care. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Thomas Etheridge.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Lynn Rampley, Tina Lea Fain, and Melanie Ann Epperson all of Calhoun; one brother, David L. Thomas of Ranger; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Fain, Haley Shelton, Austin Fain, and Zachery Rampley; three great-grandchildren, Izik Shelton, Aubree Fain and Avery Fain. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 31^st at 3pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1pm until the funeral hour.
