Mr. Glenn Everett Warren, age 67, of Calhoun, Georgia, took his last breath on this earth on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at his residence.
Glenn was born in Floyd County on April 21st, 1959, a son of the late Roger Leonard Warren and Maxie Jean Brown Warren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and David Warren. Glenn was a hardworking man who spent many years as a mechanic, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Later in life, he enjoyed working as a Little Debbie vendor, where his friendly personality and warm smile touched so many people along his route. Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Army and carried that same sense of loyalty and strength throughout his life. Above all, Glenn was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and lived his life with faith, kindness, and love for his family. He found his greatest joy outdoors — riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, and tending to his garden. He especially cherished the time spent riding the side-by-side with his nephews, making memories filled with laughter, adventure, and love that they will treasure forever.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lynn Patterson Warren; one daughter, Kelsey Warren (Danner); his mother, Jean Brown Warren; one sister, Diane Yarborough (David); three brothers, Michael (Gina), Kenny (Bonnie), and Chris (Karina); special nephews, Samuel Beasley (Ana) , Dustin Webb (Kristie), and Colt Chambers; he was pawpaw Glenn to Mikayla, Tulley, Tinsley, Izik, Harper, Serenity, and Willow; two sisters-in-law, Donna Woody (Randall), and Amy Lee (Bobby); two brothers-in-law, Keith Shelton (Renae) and Chris Patterson (Liz); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Dwaine Shadix officiating. Colt Chambers and Tyler Reynolds will be in charge of music. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Samuel Beasley, Dustin Webb, Colt Chambers, Dwayne Muse, Bert Vaughan and Dennie Roberts.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 20th, after 4 PM at the funeral home and again on Thursday, May 21st from 1 PM until the funeral hour.
