Herbert Clinton Teal

Mr. Herbert Clinton Teal age 70 of 223 Wendy Hill Rd. S.E., Fairmount, Ga. , died Monday October 16th. in Redmond Regional Medical Center following a three month illness. Mr. Teal was born in Cobb County, Ga. on October 16, 1936 son of the late William Herbert and Ovie Thackston Teal. He was a member of the Mt.Zion Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Ga. and was a retired Sgt.with Cobb County Police Department and had also served as a Deputy Sheriff in cobb County. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Joseph Teal. Survivors include his wife Mary Joyce Standridge Teal of Fairmount, one daughter; Deborah Ann Teal of Chattanooga, Tn. , one son; William Daniel Teal of Fairmount and two grandchildren; Brandie Shelton and Ashely Nicole Teal. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date. The family will recieve friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday October 17th. Locally owned and operated Thomas Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
