Herbert Allen Wilson

Herbert Allen Wilson, age 79 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center in Centre, AL.

Herbert was born on June 28, 1943 in Tift County, GA, son of the late Guy Brooks Wilson and Mildred Holland Wilson. In addition to his parents, Herbert was also preceded in death by a son, Allen Wilson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement Herbert worked for Georgia Natural Gas.

Herbert is survived by: one son, Harley Wilson and his wife Kristy; two sisters, Lou Wilson Muse and Martha Leette Wilson; niece, Yvette Thomas Dickens; one nephew, Culton Thomas; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of the Life of Herbert will be held at a later date.
