James Warren "Jim" Edwards

James Warren “Jim” Edwards, age 77 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA. Jim was born on September 11, 1943 in Gordon County, GA to the late Ralph Edwards and Lois Quinn Edwards. He was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Jim is survived by: two brothers, Greg Reed and his wife Syble of Acworth, GA, and Gary Reed and his wife Joan of Cartersville, GA; two sisters, Peggy Reed of Rocky Face, GA, and Suzanne Reed Newman and her husband Omar of Woodstock, GA; and nieces and nephews, Meghan Carnes, Trevor Newman, Chris Reed, Alex Reed, Kiera Paisley, Zeke Reed, Cameron Reed, and Quinn Reed. Due to the ongoing national health crisis, face coverings must be properly worn by all those who plan to attend. Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times while attending the service. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 3 PM at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving include: Mark Bunch, Mike Bunch, Sam Brown, Chris Watson, Greg Paisley, James Bunch, and Timmy Carter.
