Janet Rose Irwin

Janet Rose Irwin, age 83, of Adairsville and formerly of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning August 26th in AdventGordon Hospital.

Janet was born May 21, 1938, in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Lawrence Cherry and Orpha Whitten Cherry. She had lived in Adairsville for the past year and had been a customer service representative with Wal-Mart prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her two sons, Albert William Irwin, Jr., and Gerald Irwin, Sr., and his wife Shelia; four daughters, Freda Wallis and her husband Wayman, Debbie Irwin, Cathy Dovidio and Theresa Irwin. One sister, Ruth Morrow. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday September 4th at 10am at Acacia Park Cemetery in Norridge, IL.
