J.D. "Bud" Nance

J.D. “Bud” Nance, JR, age 86 of Dalton, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at AdventHealth Gordon. Bud was born on July 18, 1932 in Whitfield County to the late Jefferson Davis Nance, SR and Floy Elizabeth Dooley Nance. In addition to his parents, Bud was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Bud is survived by: his brother, Dennis Nance; and three sisters, Martha Lynn Edwards, Patricia Franklin, and Darlene Longley. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23rd from 12 PM until 3 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.
