Jean Cline, age 64 of Calhoun, passed away on November 27, 2020 at Erlanger Health System. Jean was born on July 18, 1956 in Gordon County to the late R.C. Long and Betty Parris Long. She was a devoted member of Resaca Church of God, a very loving and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, and a firm believer in Jesus Christ. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ben Cline; two sons, Benjamin Cline and his wife Ama of Resaca, Chad Cline of Calhoun; brother, Gary Long of Adairsville; two sisters, Hilda Fowler of Calhoun, Marsha Mitchell of Calhoun; eight grandchildren, Leia Sanford, Dawson Cline, Alex Cline, Carlos Martin, Benjamin Cline Jr., Shalyn Sanders, Sawyer Sanders, and Jacob Cline; two great-grandchildren, Ezra Sanford, and Waverly Sanford. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 2nd at 1 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Reid officiating. Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 1st from 4 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home. Due to the ongoing national health crisis, face coverings must be properly worn by all those who plan to attend. Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times while attending the visitation and service.
