Jeanne Parker Hobgood, age 81 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.


Jeanne was born on September 29, 1944 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Charles Richard Parker and Buna Estelle Allen Parker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by six siblings. Jeanne was a graduate of Calhoun High School Class of 1962, and a member of Calhoun First Assembly Church of God. Jeanne was a devoted wife as well as a wonderful mother and grandmother, in addition to being an incredible cook and avid traveler.

Jeanne is survived by: her husband of 64 years, Jim Hobgood; daughter, Pam Duckworth; and two grandchildren, Lauren Duckworth and Coleman Duckworth.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Langston officiating. A private burial will follow.
