Jeffery "Jeff" Lane Hammond

Jeffery Lane Hammond, beloved husband, brother, stepfather, and devoted grandfather, peacefully passed away on December 22, 2023, in Newnan, Georgia. Born on March 17, 1950, in Sugar Valley, Georgia, Jeff lived a fulfilling life of dedication and love for his family. He was 73 years old at the time of his passing.

Jeff was an exceptional individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew him. Throughout his career, he served as the Vice President of Mechanical Projects, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his professional endeavors. However, it was through spending quality time with his family that he found immense joy and contentment.

Jeff proudly served his country as a member of the United States Military, embodying the values of honor, courage, and selflessness. His service exemplified his deep-rooted patriotism and commitment to defending the freedoms we hold dear.

In his leisure time, Jeff cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Whether it was sharing stories, laughing together, or creating lasting memories, he always prioritized the happiness and well-being of his family.

Jeff will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Walter Hammond and brother, Courtney Hammond. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Sanjuana Hammond, mother, Sara Hammond, brothers Paul (Angie) Hammond, and Tracy Hammond, stepsons Felipe Cano, Omar (Maria) Cano, Jose Guadalupe, and Juan Manuel, as well as his adoring grandchildren.

A private service will be held to honor and celebrate Jeff's life. Though the physical distance may separate us, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.

The love and support you extend during this difficult time are deeply appreciated by his family and friends. May Jeff's soul find eternal peace, and may his memories continue to inspire us to live each day with love and compassion.
