Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Shultz

Jeffrey Lynn “Jeff” Shultz, age 74 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his residence. Jeff was born on October 13, 1946 in Scottsboro, AL to the late Rev. Charles Brennon Shultz and Bertha Richie Shultz. He has been a resident of Gordon County, GA since 1970 and was a member of Belmont Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school. Prior to his retirement, Jeff worked for the Georgia State Patrol as a Sergeant First Class. Jeff was involved in youth sports and was an avid golfer. Jeff is survived by: his wife, Brenda Shultz of Calhoun, GA; son, Chad Shultz and his wife Kathy of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Frances Jackson and her husband David of Carrollton, GA and Regina Shultz of Cedartown, GA; three grandchildren, Michael Kim, David Kim, and Jonathan Kim; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 3:30 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend David Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 1:30 PM until the service hour at 3:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
