Mr. Jimmy Lamar Henson

Mr. Jimmy Lamar Henson, age 61 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Henson was born in Gordon County on October 31st, 1964, a son of the late Herbert Henson and the late Katherine Mulkey Henson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Terry Henson. Mr. Henson was self-employed and was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Henson; two sons, Dusty Henson and his wife, Brittany and Kevin Cansler; two sisters, Shelia Davis and her husband, Raymond and Lisa Moorehead; four grandchildren, Tripp, Kolton, Garrison, and Brynleigh.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 1 PM at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens with Rev. George Gray officiating. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Tripp and Kolton Henson.
