Jo Ann Lindsey

Jo Ann Lindsey, age 90 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation.

Jo Ann was born on November 17, 1935 in Fort Payne, AL, daughter of the late Benjamin Hill and Lillian Bailey Hill. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose Asberry Lindsey. Jo Ann and her husband, Ambrose were charter members of Northwood Baptist Church, where she formerly served as church secretary. She loved her family dearly.

Jo Ann is survived by: her son, Benjamin “Ben” Lindsey and his wife Mitzi; her two daughters, Sharon Stafford and her husband Charles, and Nina Pilgram and her husband Steve; six grandchildren, Justin and his wife Emily, Aaron and his girlfriend, Milta, Jason, Stacey, Stephanie, and Jesse; and five great-grandchildren, Asa, Amos, Dustin, Cayla, and Casey.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 12 PM at Scott Cemetery with Dr. Justin Lindsey officiating.
