John "Johnny" P. Brooks

John “Johnny” P. Brooks, age 39 of Dalton, GA and formerly of Rogersville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Johnny was born on September 19, 1985 in Kingsport, TN, the son of Sue Monteleone and the late Michael Joe Brooks. In addition to his father, Johnny was also preceded in death by: his grandfather, Marvin “Joe” Brooks; step-father, Rickey Davidson; and aunt, Christi Monteleone.

Johnny is survived by: his wife, Jennifer Brooks of Dalton GA; three daughters, Emma Jean Brooks of Dalton, Madison Brooks of Rogersville, TN, and Hannah Brooks of Rogersville, TN; mother, Sue Monteleone; grandmothers, Wilma Brooks of Kingsport, TN and Elleen Davidson of Naples, FL; brother, Joseph Brooks of Rogersville, TN; sister, Melissa Monteleone of Atlanta, GA; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Johnny’s wish was to be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Johnny be made to Thomas Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
