John Robert Nance

John Robert Nance, age 80 of Dalton, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his residence. John was born on July 19, 1937 in Whitfield County to the late Jefferson Davis Nance, Sr. and Floy Elizabeth Dooley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Virginia Sloan, JoAnn Patterson, and Anthony Stroud Nance. He was a member of Resaca Baptist Church. John loved Calhoun High School Football, and watching his nephews Zeke and Isaac. John is survived by two brothers, Bud Nance, and Dennis Nance; three sisters, Darlene Longley, Pat Nance Franklin, and Martha Lynn Edwards all of Dalton; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
