Karen Dewitt Rapp

Karen Dewitt Rapp, age 57 of Fairmount, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Advent Health Gordon.

 Karen was born on January 21, 1967 in Perry County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Preston Dewitt and Sharon Sandage Dewitt. Karen worked as an administrative secretary for the University of Georgia. She enjoyed craft projects, flower gardening, farming, and fishing in her spare time. She was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. 

 Karen is survived by: her husband, Howard Ray Rapp; daughter, Heather Rapp; six sisters, Alberta Ford, Lesa Garner, Mary Anna Potts, Vicki Chapman, Tina Ford, and Kim Estes; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, additional family members, and dear friends also survive. 

 A celebration of the life of Karen will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 5 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating.

 The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 3 PM until 5 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the service or through Venmo @heather-rapp-1323. All contributions will be donated to a Cancer Center in Karen's name.
