Karen Judith Wilkerson

Karen Judith Wilkerson, age 80, of Calhoun passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. Karen was born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, on June 17th, 1940, to the late Helmer J. Wenum and Amanda Olson Wenum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bert Wilkerson and a daughter, Deborah Dunton. She was a graduate of the Maryville High School and was a member of the Victory Fellowship Church. She formerly worked as a care-giver at David’s Day Care of Calhoun. Karen is survived by her son, Jeffrey Wilkerson of Calhoun; a son in law, Tommy Dunton and a brother, Bryan R. Wenum and his wife Pat of Tallahassee; one granddaughter, Felicia Pigner and her husband B.J. A graveside committal service will be conducted at a later date and interment of Mrs. Wilkerson’s cremated remains will be in the Mount Herman Methodist Church Cemetery near Greensboro, Alabama Thomas Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for Ms. Karen Judith Wilkerson, age 80, of Calhoun.
