Kenneth Starr Griffith

Kenneth Starr Griffith, age 87 of Resaca, GA, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Northside Hospital.

Ken was born on April 24, 1939 in Gordon County, GA, son of the late Kenneth Starling Griffith and Martha Corine Chitwood Griffith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Don Griffith and Ray Griffith. Ken served in the Georgia National Guard, and was a member of Resaca Church of Christ. He was exceptional at all sports, but softball was his favorite. If you spent an hour with Ken, you would first hear about his family, then he would tell you a joke, and before long, he would be sharing a softball story.

Ken is survived by: his brother, Jerry Griffith and his wife Lavon; sister, Betty Ann Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
