Larry Eugene Bess

Larry Eugene Bess, age 74 of Chatsworth, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Emory University Hospital. Larry was born on September 7, 1945 in Atmont, Tennessee to the late Herber Earl Bess and Ester Lee Bowlin Bess. Prior to retirement, Larry was employed by Batesville Casket Company for 26 years as a truck driver. He was a member of A Place to Worship. Larry is survived by: his son, Russell Bess of Christiana, Tennessee; daughter, Missy Lance and her husband Randall of Viola, Tennessee; fiancé, Josephine Cook; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13th from 2 PM until 4 PM at A Place to Worship in Chatsworth, Georgia. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, October 14th at 11cst in Mount Zion Cemetery in Viola, Tennessee.
