Leonor Mazariegos, age 97 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at AdventHealth Gordon.
Leonor was born on January 19, 1927 in Mission, TX, the daughter of the late Paulo Cardenas and Genara Morales Cardenas. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by: her husband, Jorge Luis Mazariegos; a brother, Marcos Cardenas; and sister, Victoria Venaegas. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and also the Ranger and Fairmount Community Clubs. Leonor was of the Catholic faith.
Leonor is survived by: three sons, George Alfred Mazariegos and his wife Sharon, Charles Henry Mazariegos and his wife Ada, and Joe Vincent Mazariegos and his wife Sandy; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Leonor will be held in Gulf Port, Mississippi and announced later.
