Lewis E. Brown

Lewis E. Brown, age 73 of Bronston, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

Lewis was born on August 15, 1950 in Harlan, KY, the son of the late Willis Brown and Roberta Shoupe Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: his wife, Louann Cooper Brown; one son, Rex Allen Brown; two sisters, Joyce Brown and Linda Brown; and brother, Carlos Brown. 

Lewis is survived by: his eight children, Scott (Linda) Brown, Larry Brown, Jason Brown, Laurel (Ernest) Coots, Crystal Canchola, Melissa (Paul) Hendrix, Barbara (Less) Penson, and Ann Brown; six siblings, Virginia (Carl) Waycaster, Lester (Brenda) Brown, John (Marie) Brown, David (Caron) Brown, Jack (Connie) Brown, and Debra (Kenny) Wyatt; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11^th from 1 PM until the service hour at 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
