Linda May Bailey

Linda May Bailey, age 76 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. Linda was born on April 8, 1944 in Gordon County to the late John Christian Griffith and Pauline Tate Griffith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty, and Carolyn; nephews, Ronnie, Keith, and Terry. She is survived by a son, Randal “ Randy” Timothy Whitfield of Calhoun; three grandchildren, Jason Whitfield and his wife April, Tyler Davidson and his wife Paige, Shane Whitfield and his wife Ashley; six great-grandchildren, Jenesis, Jazzlyn, Xander, Landon, Adalina, and Kyzer; nephew, Rick Kinsey; additional family, Dawn, Linda Mattos, Heather Wilson, Buck Gilbert, April Kinsey, Kelly Davidson, Kim Harbor, and Crystal Scoggins. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Donna Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Damascus Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Shane Whitfield, Jason Whitfield, Tyler Davidson, and Rick Kinsey. Honorary pallbearer is Billy Wisdom. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Thomas Funeral Home.
