Margaret M. Burdette

Tuesday, February 27, 2007 Mrs. Margaret M. Burdette, age 75 of 604 Pisgah Way, Calhoun, died Tuesday Feb. 27th. in Gordon Health Care following an extended illness. Margaret was born in Gordon County on Nov. 28, 1931 daughter of the late Robert Ernest and Kathleen Lydia Campbell Moore and had been a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Baptist Church, and in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Toby Moore. Survivors include her husband W.C. “Billy” Burdette of Calhoun, two sons; Brent Burdette and his wife Rhonda of Calhoun and Rob Burdette of Big Bear City, California. Two brothers; James and Wiley Moore both of Calhoun and two grandchildren; Anna and Luke Burdette both of Calhoun. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday March 1st. from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Hudgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Thomas Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. and again from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
