Marian Lucy Booth

Marian Lucy Booth, age 97 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her residence. Marian was born on May 16, 1923 in Binghamton, New York, daughter of the late Aurther Tanner and Irene Pollard Tanner. In addition to her parents, Marian was also preceded in death by: her first husband and father of her children, Elmer John Halikias; her second husband, Sammie Alton Booth; three sons, Richard Halikias, Jackie Halikias, and Stanley Halikias; and son-in-law, George Seaberger. Marian was of the Catholic faith. Marian is survived by: five sons, Billy Halikias and his wife Carol, Robert Halikias, Elmer Halikias, Russell Halikias, and Donald Halikias and his wife Sherry; six daughters, Glenda Seaberger, Josephine Campney and her husband Tom, Annie Batchelder and her husband Les, Debbie Holmstead, Mary Stevens and her husband Jeff, and Kathy Halikias and her companion Harvey; two brothers, Duffy Tanner and Robert Tanner; and two sisters, Renee Green and Lula Shameine. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 19th from 9 AM until the funeral hour at 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, October 19th at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Frank Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
