Mary S. Stewart

Friday, May 25, 2007 Mrs. Mary S. Stewart, age 76, formerly of Calhoun. Died at her residence in Smyrna Thursday afternoon May 24th following several months of declining health. Mrs. Stewart was born in Hamilton County, Tn., August 7, 1930. Daughter of the late Benjamin Moore and Ethel Lucille Kendrick Schneitman. While living in Calhoun Mary attended Antioch Baptist Church and Blackwood Springs Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement she worked as a bookkeeper of Shaw Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Kyle Anita Richeson of Smyrna. One sister, Charlotte Shannon of Smyrna. A special niece Sharon Adcock of Smyrna along with several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday May 29th at 2PM from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. William “Oogy” Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8PM.
