Matthew James Vanderheiden, age 46 of Calhoun, passed away due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Matthew was born on August 4, 1977 in Fortuna, California, the son of Patricia Sylvia Vanderheiden and the late David Earl Vanderheiden. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Erika Ann Dolan Vanderheiden. Matthew worked as a truck driver for Jacked Company.
Matthew is survived by: his son, Aidan Vanderheiden; mother, Patricia Sylvia Vanderheiden; sister, Leah (Scott) Lombardo; aunts and uncles, Cathy (Phil) Bourne, Sandy (Paul) Sylvia, Cheryl (Abel) Pena, Grace (John) Sickles, Maria Fleuret, Bob (Valerie) Vanderheiden, and Gregory Vanderheiden.
A private celebration of the life of Matthew will be held at a later date.
