Michael (Mike) Parker

Michael (Mike) Wayne Parker, went home to be with Jesus on February 10, 2020 at Floyd Medical Center from several months of illness. Mike was born July 25, 1959 to the late Ebbert Columbus Parker and Sara Louise Harris Parker. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his stepmother, Joyce Parker; brother, Ray Parker and his wife Carolyn; sister, Barbara Guyton, Shirley Gourley and her husband Sherrill. Prior to his illness Mike was the Plant Manager for Shaw Plant #3. He is survived by his son, Adam Parker; mother of son, Pamela Little; brothers, Stevie Parker and his wife Nina, Jerry Parker and his wife Pat; sister, Trisha Nation; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Shawn Nation. Burial will follow in Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the funeral home at 10 AM until the funeral hour.
