Muriel Sosebee

Muriel Sosebee, age 95 of Fairmount, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Gordon Hospital. She was a resident at Calhoun Health Care for several years. Muriel was born on February 19, 1923 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to the late Bennett C. Hardin and Edith Stallion Hardin. In addition to her parents, Muriel was also preceded in death by: her husband, Johnny Sosebee; two brothers, Wilburn Hardin, and Clifton Hardin; and sister, Jean Evans. Muriel was also a retired nursing assistant. Muriel is survived by: a nephew, Barry Evans and his wife Patricia; two nieces, Sheila Boling and her husband Allen, and Jaronda Evans; and several great-nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 8th at 3 PM in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Allen and Bro. Randy Sutherland officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
