Wednesday, July 25, 2007 Mrs. Nannie Lou Bohannon Brown Pack, age 87, of Calhoun. Died Tuesday evening at 7pm in the Oglethorpe Nursing Center. Mrs. Pack was born in Gordon County June 1, 1920. Daughter of the late Walter Stephen and Grace Mae James Bohannon. She was retired from Dixie Bell Mills and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie “Bill” Pack and six brothers, Lloyd, David, Charles, Preston, James, and Junior Bohannon. Survivors include three sons, Raymond Brown and his wife Ann, Tony Brown and his wife Cindy all of Calhoun, and Harold Brown and his wife Nancy of Ringgold. Three sisters, Mary Jo Waddell of Calhoun, Johnnie Ruth Smith and Betty Sue Chastain of Rydal. Seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 27th at 1pm from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home. With Rev. Marvin Carr officiating. Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Cemetery. The Bohannon’s will have charge of the music. Pallbearers will include, Doyle Walker, Richard Brown, Buster Brown, Chad Brumlow, Ricky Silvers and Ken Smith. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 9pm.
