Newman Queen, Jr.

Newman Queen, Jr., age 74 of Ranger, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at AdventHealth Gordon.

Newman was born on November 30, 1949 in Wayne County, West Virginia, the son of the late Newman Queen, Sr. and Mary Pack Queen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings, Joyce Brown and D.W. Queen. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, Newman worked as a supervisor for the Gordon County Road Department. 

Newman is survived by: his wife, Kathryn Lessner Queen; four children, Cindy Queen, Becky Queen, Richard Queen, Caroline Wilson; one grandchild, Grace Tyler; and four siblins, Eve Adkins, Cullie Queen, Teresa Queen, and Cletis Queen.
