Rachel Jackson Souther, age 81 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her residence. Rachel was born on December 20, 1938 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Andrew Martin Jackson and Edna Irene Thomas Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: her daughter, Lydia Southern; and son, Howard Arnold Souther. She was a lifetime resident of Gordon County, GA and was of the Baptist faith. Rachel is survived by: her grandson, Jason Souther; and granddaughter, Samantha Lara. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
