Richard Harvey Hogue

Richard Harvey Hogue, JR, age 69 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon. Richard was born on July 13, 1951 in Trion, GA, son of the late Richard Harvey Hogue, SR and Kate Hogue. In addition to his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by two sons, Marty Kirby and Seth Kirby. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Richard was a very simple man who loved his grandchildren. Richard is survived by: two sons, Richard Cord Hogue of Calhoun, GA and Brent Davis of Dalton, GA; daughter, Larinda Maddox and her husband Joe of Calhoun, GA; sister, Linda Smithson of Adairsville, GA; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Richard will be held at a later date.
