Richard David Parlo

Richard David Parlo, 71 of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, January 5th, at his residence. 

Richard was born on July 3, 1953, in Somerset, New Jersey, the son of Jack Parlo and the late Rita Greck Parlo. Richard was employed by Mathews & Parlo Carpet. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and sports in his spare time, especially his New York Giants. But his life was his grandkids and his family. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Lorraine “Rainy” Parlo; two children, Gwen Barca and her husband Dino and Richard David Parlo, Jr; two grandchildren, Gianna Barca and Carmine Barca; and three siblings, Jack Parlo, Jr. and his wife Gale, Janice Simpf and her husband Thomas, and Robert “Bob” Parlo and his wife Susan. 

A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Monday, January 13th at 10 am from St. Clements Catholic Church with Father Vanderley Oliveira.  

Family request that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital @ 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
