Richard Carl Stiehl

Richard Carl Stiehl, age 84 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Richard was born on December 18, 1939, in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Edwin and Mary Stiehl. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Special Operations Command. Richard was a member of the American Legion Post 42 in Cartersville, GA. Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Worley Stiehl, and a daughter, Laura Richardson, and stepdaughter,  Owanna, stepson, Dewayne Jernigan. 

Richard is survived by his daughter, Vickie Murphy, and her husband Joey;  one stepdaughter, Virginia Bagley of Calhoun, GA; and nine grandchildren.
