Miss Robbie Louise Causby

Miss Robbie Louise Causby, 101, of Calhoun, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The Fountains Calhoun.

Robbie was born on February 10, 1924 in Gordon County, she was the daughter of the late F.C. Causby, Sr. and Bertie Greeson Causby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ozelle Jordan and Martha Sue (Susie) Brackett, and her brothers, F.C. Causby, Jr. and Gary Wayne Causby. Robbie was a graduate of Berry College and continued her studies at the University of Chattanooga and the University of Georgia. She devoted her life to serving others as a County Extension Agent with the University System of Georgia Extension Service, serving Lumpkin, Catoosa, Walker, and Bartow Counties. A devoted lifetime member of Pine Chapel Methodist Church, Robbie played both piano and organ for many years. Her faith and service inspired everyone who knew her. She enjoyed cooking, collecting cookbooks, sewing, embroidery, and gardening. She will be remembered for her generosity, creativity, and unwavering spirit.

She is survived by her nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a wide circle of cherished friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with family sharing memories. Rev. Kenneth Phillips will be in charge of graveside rites.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to a charity or organization of your choice in her memory.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of The Fountains Calhoun and Homespun Hospice for their compassionate care and kindness.
