Ruby L. West, age 97 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Gordon Health & Rehabilitation.
Ruby was born on November 30, 1928 in Calhoun, GA, daughter of the late Claude and Tye Quinn McBee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Milford L. West.
Ruby is survived by: her daughter, Mitzi West; two grandchildren, Dana Sloan and Brett Sloan; one great-grandchild, Hal Sloan; brother, Charles McBee; and two nephews, Michael Hughes and Lynn Hughes.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2 PM at Chandler Cemetery with Reverend Craig Miles officiating.
