Mrs. Shelia Gravitt Henderson

Mrs. Shelia Gravitt Henderson, age 73 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Friday, June 20th, 2025, at Erlanger Hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Gordon County on April 12th, 1952, to the late Junior Gravitt and Helen Nora Hall. Prior to becoming disabled, she was an interior designer and was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren

Survivors include her two daughters, India Henderson Thacker (Jarrod) and Kelly Roach (Michael); her mother, Mrs. Helen Greeson; one brother, Thomas Greeson (Dina); three sisters, Sharon Black, Sandra Moore (Ricky), and Shirley Broyles (Jimmy); five grandchildren, Madison Dodd-Erwin (Gabe), Mallory Stinnett (Eric), Allie Thacker, Marley Roach, and Kash Thacker; five great-grandchildren, Ellie Jo Erwin, Darcee Erwin, Zailyn Stinnett, Alizah Thacker, and Koa Byars.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at 3 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery with Rev. Andrew Crawford presiding. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers include Conner Black, Trevor Black, Austin Greeson, Aden Greeson, Kash Thacker, and Clint Hackney.

Honorary pallbearers include A.L Densmore, Jason Parrott, Blake Hall, Dr. Mayur Mody, Michael Roach, Eric Stinnett, and Lamar Holland.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 23rd, from 1 PM until 3 PM at the funeral home.
