Teresa Laverne Boudreaux

Teresa L. Boudreaux, age 68, of Calhoun, Ga., left this world peacefully in the comfort of her home, with the loving embrace of her family surrounding her on the late evening of Thursday, August 28, 2025. In her final days, she received care from her loving husband, Jon Cates, whose unwavering support highlighted the profound compassion and commitment they shared.

Teresa was born on July 9, 1957 to the late Grady Lee and Ora Mae Pierce. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Jean Pierce Cannon, Joanne Barrett Pierce, Claudine Pierce Brock, and Betty Lou Pierce Sertain; and her brothers, Leroy Pierce, Ralph David Pierce, and Dennis Lee Pierce, who she missed dearly.

Teresa will always be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she poured into her relationships with family and friends, who were the center of her world.

She leaves behind cherished memories with her spouse, Jon Cates; her sister, Retha Burns; and brother, Albert Pierce. She also leaves behind her beloved sons, Ben Jones and Jerry Jones Jr.; along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
