Thelma Juanita Walker

Ms. Thelma Juanita Walker, age 86 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Gordon Hospital. Thelma was born on July 4, 1932 in Pelham, GA to the late Josephine Russ Cain and Bedford D. Cain. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by a son, Levi Laney Walker, Jr. Thelma was employed at Cato Fashion for many years. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Calhoun First Assembly of God. Ms. Walker is Survived by her two daughters, LaJuana Reed and her husband Tim Reed, Lisa Wright and her husband Mark Wright; sisters, Josephine V. Cain of Calhoun and Faye Southall of Montgomery, Alabama; brother, Judson Cain of Albany, GA; Seven Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 26 ,2018 at 2:00 PM at Calhoun First Assembly of God with Reverend Caryl Martinez and Reverend Patrick Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery with John Wright, Clark Wright, Jonathan Smith, Josh Reed, Matt Monica, and Jeremy Cain serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Calhoun First Assembly of God on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
