Tommy Michael Medlin

Tommy Michael Medlin, age 59 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Advent Health Gordon.

Tommy was born on March 22, 1966 in Calhoun, GA, the son of the late Max Medlin and Peggy Joyce Reeves Medlin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: two brothers, Donny Medlin and Ellis (Janet) Medlin; and two sisters, Laura Mae (Rodney) Dixon and Debby Medlin Hall. Tommy enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Tommy is survived by: his wife, Shevelle Medlin of 32 years; son, Justin (Sydnei) Medlin; two daughters, Kayla (Matt) Selvy and Madison (Will Pate) Chapman; six grandchildren, Easton Selvy, Amos Selvy, Beckett Pate, Isaac Taylor, Zachary Taylor, and Ansen Medlin; brother, Ronnie Medlin; and sister, Pam (Lamar) Long; step-son Cody Whitfield and step-daughter, Sierra Whitfield.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4 PM until 6 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.

A celebration of the life of Tommy will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 6 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Lamar Long officiating.

In addition to flowers, donations can be made to off set the final expenses.
