Trenna Daugherty Cunningham

Mrs. Trenna Mae Daugherty Cunningham, age 91 of Calhoun, Ga., previously of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024. 

Mrs. Cunningham was born in Moultrie, Ga., on April 8^th, 1932, to the late Robert H. Norman and the late Willie Bond Norman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis H. Daugherty; second husband, Walter H. Cunningham; and one son, Thomas J. Daugherty. Mrs. Cunningham was the youngest of seven children, who also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. 

Survivors include her children, Dennis H. Daugherty III (Lori), Mary D. Hamby (Donald), Joseph N. Daugherty, Teresa Barfield (Steve); daughter-in-law, Rita M. Daugherty; 13 grandchildren, Toni Blair, Amy Carter, Steve Barfield, Kim Adair, Josh Clark, Terry Wilbanks, Dennis Daugherty, Becky Davey, Joe Daugherty, Karen Oakes, Larry Daugherty, Allison Daugherty, and Amy Jones; 17 great-grandchildren. 

The family will give special thanks to the staff of Morning Pointe Assisted Living, especially her caregivers, Sherry Yingling and Kellie Craig. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 1^st, 2024, at 11 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29^th from 5 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Shriner’s Hospital for Children in memory of Mrs. Cunningham.
