Mr. Troy Dean Stone, age 80 of Ranger, Ga., passed away on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Stone was born on November 10th, 1944, in Pickens County, a son of the late James Luther Stone and the late Nellie Pass Stone. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Eric Stone and Rocky Stone; seven brothers, Delmer, Elmer, Gene, Verlon, Lester, Marvin and Terry Stone; two sisters, Faye Stone Brooks and Claire Mae Rodgers. Mr. Stone was a farmer most of his life and he enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Stone; one son, Troy L. Stone; two daughters, Tia Hines (Barry) and Talesha Domingo; one sister, Gladys Stone; four grandchildren, Colby, Lucas, Raelyn, and Ryder Stone.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14th, 2025 at 1 PM in the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 13th, from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
