Wayne Bannister

Wayne Bannister, age 71 of Chatsworth, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his residence.

Wayne was born on May 15, 1952 in Dalton, GA, the son of the late James Josh Bannister and Robbie Taylor Bannister. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Wayne Bannister. Wayne was retired from the Murray County Road Commission. He was a member and Past Master of the Coosawattee Masonic Lodge #306. He enjoyed fishing and aggravating people. 

Wayne is survived by: his daughter, Bobbie Rhoden and her husband Thomas, three grandchildren, Corey Rhoden, Kain Hardman, and Dakota Rhoden; six great-grandchildren, Skylar Rhoden, Kaelynn Rhoden, Lennon Rhoden, River Rhoden, Raine Rhoden, and Rex Rhoden; and one sister, Linda Crump.

The family held a private graveside service.
